4th OF to back-up a LF/RF corner positions or he could step up if Bradley/Castillo bats falter. Gives us some Carbo pop off the bench. Also plays 1b so we have more options behind Hanley/Shaw.
A bench of Holt, Shaw & Moss is as flexible as they come.

Freese has a borderline bat for a third baseman and would be considered a below average option at first base. While he is a possibility I really do not see him being an option.

Seems to be a solidly above average hitter with a little bit of power. Right-handed hitter who traditionally hits LHP better, which would certainly help. I really haven’t watched him, but I would hope that going from 3B to 1B would improve his D slightly as it’s further down on the defensive spectrum. Would he be a possibility?
