Hanley Ramirez also hurt himself playing LF after a career spent in the infield. If Swihart’s future is behind the plate, he needs to be catching regularly.

As for Castillo, it’s this simple. Only his contract is keeping him in the organization. An expensive bust.

I just hated that the organization haphazardly put a very promising prospect into the treacherous left field of Fenway and it ended up costing him almost a full season due to injury.
